Trying Times....with Trusses

August 24th & 25th, 2008
The adventure began on Sunday
Nobody said it would be easy...
By Monday we found a method that seemed to work.
This will be a slow, cautious and trying phase.

The last wall was put up, completing the BWOS.

...as well as the more detailed jobs that need to be completed prior to the roof trusses going up.

A Busy Sunday

In one large piece, it was one of the biggest and heaviest.
The bay window on steroids (BWOS) is turning out nice.

... Oh, ...and by the way, ...it was a wonderful second wedding anniversary! We would have it no other way!

The roof trusses were delivered this morning.

Despite the cloudy, rainy weather.....
...we are able to continue putting up garage walls.

A turn around area has been added to the driveway. Yay! No more driving in the mud.

Additonal Framework

August 7th - August 10th, 2008
After the first 4 walls went up...
...we started building the next set.
Saturday morning 6 a.m, woke up once again to a wet & muddy construction site.



But the sunrise was beautiful.

Two of the built walls went up,


one being a portion of the garage.
