The Bay window on steroids (BWOS)has required
lots of
intricate
&
precise
angle cuts
The smallest of details have been painstaking...
but I know it will be worth it in the end.

We are finished with trusses.
How not to stand on a ladder!


Plenty of detail work needs to be finished before roofing

...including more sheathing, lookouts, fascia boards etc.

Soggy!

Sept. 13th, 2008
The weekend weather consisted entirely of scattered showers.
But since we had a volunteer to help, we put trusses up in the rain on Saturday.
We decided working in the rain was miserable, so Sunday was considered a complete rain-out.

A Productive Weekend

Sept. 6th & 7th
More sheathing

& more trusses
went up Saturday
From sunscreen on Saturday
to sweatshirts
on Sunday

We have all but 2 trusses up on the house



Then...on to the garage.

We had a system worked out by the weekend and with more muscle, additional trusses went up

I'd like to say easier but they are so large and heavy, it was still tough moving them into the house

Continued sheathing the garage as time allowed...
