May 13th, 2009 We have hired a crew to hang, tape & mud the sheetrock for us.
Starting on the 13th of May, it was exciting everyday after to arrive at the house and see the changes taking place.
This picture shows part of the 1/2 bath just as you come in the entry.

Remember the BWOS? The area of framing that was so pain-staking this past summer? Well...it was all worth it. Here is a view of that Bay Window on Steriods in the Master Bedroom.
Because we hired a crew for the sheetrock process, we have been able to start other projects.
We began with hanging the hardibacker board in the Master Bath Shower.
I built about 5 more walls in the basement to give the sheetrock crew more work. ;-)
With having these walls up we are able to close off the basement since we will not be finishing that immediatly.
All we need now to close off the basement is 2 beautiful French doors.
Here's an overview of the sitting room, mudroom & the free standing mudroom closet. I can't wait to paint!!
May 12th, 2009 The garage and the house were cleaned-up and everything moved out or into the basement in preparation for the Sheetrock to be delivered.
The delivery crew carried the sheets throughout the house by hand, putting the approx. amount needed in each room. What an impressive site!
