I know, I know, no updates for 3 weeks. =(Well, the week of Dec. 15th - 19th we worked on a stairway to the basement. Single digit temps and some evenings below zero, tends to slow down progress. But we finished building the steps on the 26th.
That weekend,(27th & 28th) we built and lifted 3 interior walls.
The weather was cooperative over the weekend, with temps in the upper 20's. This allowed us to finish up some work outside. The ledger board for the Front Entry went up, 
along with almost all of the exterior fixtures. We were pressed for time to have the exterior fixtures finished,
knowing the crew hired for siding would be ready to get started by the 29th.When we arrived monday night, the garage had been started.
By Wednesday, Dec. 31st most of the west side had been sided and...
..our Front Entry door had been installed as well as the door between house & garage.
Jan. 1st 2009 Happy New Year!Tired of using a step ladder between the house & garage, we built a platform & steps. We also ran wiring, installed an outlet & some light switches. We now have power to the outdoor light. Since the majority of our time at the house is evenings...we are happy to have it working.
